Questions
What does "whichever comes first" mean?
Engine oil wears out with distance and with time. If it is due every 5,000 km or 6 months, it is due at 5,000 km if you drive a lot, or after 6 months if the car hardly moves. The app watches both and warns you at the one that comes first.
How often should the oil be changed?
The app starts at every 5,000 km or 6 months for a car and every 1,000 km or 3 months for a motorbike, which are common starting points. Fully synthetic oil often lasts longer. Your owner's manual or mechanic knows best: change the numbers to match.
Do I have to type the odometer every day?
No. Type it whenever you fill up or once a week. The app shows the last reading and its date. After two readings at least a week apart it also works out how far you drive a day and guesses the date a service will come due.
I did a service early. What do I tap?
Tap Done on it and type the day and the odometer reading. The next one counts from then, so doing it early is never a problem.
The odometer was replaced or reset. What now?
Type the new reading under Odometer now. The app sees it is lower, asks, and when you choose The meter was replaced or reset it keeps counting from your last reading, so the km left stay right.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your vehicles and services stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to move them to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection.
