Questions

How is the GPA I need worked out?

Needed GPA = (target CGPA × all credit hours at the end − grade points you already have) ÷ credit hours left. Example: a 2.84 CGPA over 92 credit hours, 136 credit hours in the degree and a 3.00 target: (3.00 × 136 − 2.84 × 92) ÷ 44 = 3.3345, so you need at least 3.34 on average in the 44 credit hours left. The needed GPA is always rounded up, so it is enough.

How is a semester GPA and CGPA worked out?

Each course's grade points are multiplied by its credit hours, added up, and divided by the credit hours. A 4-credit B+ (3.33) counts twice as much as a 2-credit B+. The CGPA does the same over every semester. Courses graded Pass, Withdrawn or Incomplete, and courses with 0 credit hours, are not in the GPA. A Pass still counts as credit hours completed.

What does "Expected (what-if)" do?

Set a semester to Expected (what-if) and pick the grades you hope to get. The app shows what your CGPA would become and what you would then need in the rest of your degree. Expected grades never change your real CGPA. Switch it to Final results when the results are out.

What happens when I retake a course?

Type the course again in the later semester with exactly the same name. Under Rounding and retaken courses pick what your university does: the latest grade replaces the earlier one, the best grade counts, or every attempt counts. A replaced attempt is marked "Not counted" and its credit hours count only once toward your degree.

My university uses percentages or another scale

Pick My own grades to type each grade and its points as printed on your transcript, or I type grade points if your results show grade points such as 3.5 for each course.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Your grades stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection. Save a backup file now and then, or before changing phones.

Is this my official CGPA?

No. It is worked out from what you type, the way most universities do it. Your transcript is the official record; some universities have their own rules, for example for repeated or transferred courses.
