Charity and Donation Log with Yearly Total

Add each gift you give: zakat, sadqa, tithe, a donation or help to someone. See how much you gave this year, to whom, and which gifts still need a receipt for tax.

Add a gift

Each time you give, add it here. It takes a few seconds.

Receipt

Pick Still to get when the charity owes you a receipt for your tax form.

Promises paid in parts

Promised a sum to a masjid, church, school or hospital fund and paying it bit by bit? Add the promise here. Every gift to the same name from that day counts towards it.

Goal, backup and settings

Match your tax year so the yearly total fits your tax form.

How it works

  1. Add each gift when you give: to whom, how much, the kind (zakat, sadqa, tithe, a donation) and how you paid.
  2. Mark the receipt: kept, still to get, or not needed. The app reminds you which receipts you still need for your tax form.
  3. Give every month? Pick Repeat and the app asks you to confirm each one when it is due.
  4. See your year: the total, by kind and by cause, your goal, and a list to give your accountant.

Questions

Does it work out how much zakat I owe?

No. Rulings on zakat (nisab, which wealth counts, the date) differ, so ask a scholar you trust. The app records what you gave and adds it up, so you can see how much of your zakat you have already paid.

Which gifts can I claim on my tax form?

That depends on your country and the charity: Gift Aid in the UK, 80G in India, approved institutions in Pakistan, registered charities in the US and Canada. Set Your year runs to your tax year, mark each receipt, and tap Save list for tax form for a file your accountant can open in Excel or Google Sheets.

How do regular gifts work?

Pick Every week, Every month or Every year under Repeat. The first gift is added on the date you pick. After that, each time one is due it shows under Regular gifts due: tap Given to add it, or Skip. Nothing is counted until you confirm it, so a missed month never inflates your total. A gift on the 31st falls on the last day of shorter months.

I gave in another currency

Type what it came to in your own money, and put the original amount in the note, such as "100 USD". The yearly total then stays in one currency.

I gave on behalf of my mother, or for someone who passed away

Tap + Given on behalf of someone and type their name. The gift counts in the total, and the summary shows it apart from your own giving.

I gave food, clothes or a ration bag, not money

Pick Goods or food under How you paid and type what it was worth. For a tax claim, check what your country allows for gifts in kind.
