Questions
How many rides make a pass worth it?
Divide the pass price by one fare and round up. A 3,000 monthly pass with an 80 fare pays for itself at 38 rides (38 × 80 = 3,040). Commuting there and back on 19 days is exactly that, so a month with 3 days of leave or working from home can tip it either way. That is why the app counts the rides you really took.
How does the month compare the passes?
For each pass on its own it works out the cheapest way to have paid for that month's rides: buying the pass only when it helps and paying per ride for the rest. A 7-day pass can start on any day, so it checks every start day. A calendar month pass covers the 1st to the last day. Each pass bought is counted in full, even if it runs into the next month.
How are ride cards (10 rides, 20 rides) compared?
Unused rides stay on a card for later, so a ride on a card costs the card price divided by its rides: 700 for 10 rides is 70 a ride. A ride goes on the card only when its fare costs more than that. "Rides left for later" are on the last card you would have bought.
The fare went up. What happens to my old rides?
Each ride keeps the price it had when you logged it. Change the price under "Your fares and passes" and only new rides use it. To fix an older ride, tap Edit on it under Rides.
I lost my card and bought a new one.
Tap I bought this pass again on the day you bought the new one. Both prices count as spent, and each ride is counted once, on the pass you bought first.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your rides stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to move them to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection, for example underground.
