    Questions

I don't write down every sale. Can I still use it?

Yes. Write down only the money taken out (stock, expenses, what you took home) during the day. At closing, count the drawer and tap Save count. If you wrote no cash sales that day, the app offers Add the difference as cash sales: it works out the day's cash sales from your count.

Where does the opening cash come from?

From the day before: the cash you counted at closing, or, if you did not count, what should have been there. The first time, type the cash in the drawer when you opened. If you put in change from home, use Other cash in, or tap Change opening cash.

    I made a mistake yesterday.

Tap ‹ to go back to that day and tap Edit on the entry, or change the count. Every day after it is worked out again, so today's opening cash is corrected too.

Why are card and mobile wallet sales separate?

That money goes to the bank or the wallet, not into the drawer. It counts in the day's sales but not in Cash should be.

The shop was closed one day.

Skip it. Days with nothing written are left out, and the next day opens with the last cash you had.

Is "Sales minus stock and expenses" my profit?

Not exactly. It is the money the shop brought in that day after the stock and expenses paid that day. Stock bought today is sold over many days, so look at the month total for a fairer picture. Money the owner took home is not counted as an expense.
