Questions
How does the streak work?
The streak counts the days in a row you kept the habit. Days the habit is not planned (for example the weekend for a weekdays-only habit) and days you mark with Skip this day (ill, travelling) never break it. Today only adds to the streak once it is done, so an empty morning does not reset it. A "Keep under a limit" habit counts finished days only. A habit planned a number of times a week counts weeks in a row.
How much water should I drink?
There is no single right amount; it depends on your size, the weather and how active you are, and food gives some water too. Many health services suggest about 6 to 8 glasses (1.5 to 2 litres) a day for adults. Set the goal you or your doctor choose. If you have a heart or kidney condition, ask your doctor first.
I forgot to log yesterday. Can I fix it?
Yes. Tap ‹ at the top, or tap the day in a habit's week strip, then log as usual. Back to today returns. To fill in days before you added the habit, tap Edit and set Started on earlier.
I changed my goal. Do old days change?
No. A new goal or new days count from today, so past days keep the goal they had. Tick Use the new goal and days for earlier days too if you were fixing a mistake.
Can it remind me?
Open Details on a habit, choose a time and tap Add reminder to my calendar. Your calendar app then reminds you on the planned days. Web pages cannot reliably send reminders on their own, so the calendar does it.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your habits stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection, and you can add it to your home screen. Save a backup file now and then, or before changing phones.
