Questions
Why put this on the lock screen?
If you collapse or have an accident, paramedics and strangers cannot unlock your phone. The lock screen shows who to call, your allergies and the medicines that matter (such as blood thinners or insulin) without unlocking it.
Can anyone see it?
Yes, anyone who picks up your phone can read the lock screen. Leave off anything you want to keep private: every field except the name is optional.
What if everything does not fit?
The text gets smaller until it fits. If it still does not fit, notes and the doctor are left off first, then the last items of the longest list, and the app tells you exactly what was left off. Put the most important items first.
Is my information uploaded?
No. The picture, the card and the text are made in your browser, and what you type is kept only on this device. Your data is never sent anywhere.
Is this medical advice?
No. It only shows what you type. Ask your doctor or pharmacist what is most important to list.
