Exam Result and Report Card Tracker for Parents

Add each child's test and term results and see which subject went up or down since last time.

Add a child

Add each of your children. Each one gets their own box with their subjects and results.

Tap a subject to add it, or type them with commas. You can add more later.

Settings and backup

Those subjects show under Needs attention.

Questions

Tests have different totals. Can I compare them?

Yes. Every result becomes a percentage: 18 out of 25 is 72% and 62 out of 100 is 62%, so a monthly test can be compared with a term exam. You can also type 18/25 straight into the Marks box.

How is "up" or "down" worked out?

Each subject is compared with the last test that had the same subject. Maths: 62% in Term 2, down from 74% in Term 1 means 12 percentage points lower. The overall percentage is the total marks of all subjects divided by the total possible, the same way a report card adds it up.

My child was absent from a test

Pick Absent for that subject. It is not counted as zero: the subject is compared with the last test your child sat, and the overall percentage counts only the subjects they took. Subjects left blank are not part of that test.

The school gives grades, not marks

Pick Grade for the subject and choose the grade. Each grade counts as a percentage (A+ as 90%, A as 75% and so on) so it can be compared and drawn on the chart. Change the grades and what they count as in Settings and backup.

A new school year or a new subject

Tap Edit child to change the class, add a subject or remove one that was dropped. Old results stay in the history. Each result remembers the class it was in.
