Freelance Income Log with Tax Set-Aside
Log each client payment with the fee and what reached your bank. See what you really earned this month and how much to keep aside for tax.
This browser is not letting the app save. What you type will be lost when you close the page. Save a backup file before you leave.
Add a payment
Each time a client pays you, add it here. Takes a few seconds.
Platform or transfer fee, as an amount or a %. Leave blank if none.
Tax set-aside
Ask an accountant or your tax office what share to keep. The app only does the sums.
Money you have put aside
Each time you move money to a tax savings account, or pay tax in advance, add it here.
Backup and settings
The money that reaches your bank. Payments in other currencies are shown with their code, such as USD.
How it works
- Add each payment when a client pays: who, how much, in which currency, and the fee taken (such as 10% on Upwork).
- Add what reached your bank in your own money, or the exchange rate. Still sitting in Payoneer or Wise? Pick Not in my bank yet.
- See what you really earned this month after fees, and how much to keep aside for tax.
- See your average month, your best client and the total for your tax year, and save a list for your accountant.

Questions
Does it connect to Payoneer, Wise, PayPal or Upwork?
No. You type each payment in a few seconds. Nothing is linked to your bank or your accounts, so it works with any platform, any bank and any country.
What do I type as the fee?
What the platform or transfer service kept, in the client's currency: a % such as 10% (Upwork's service fee) or an amount such as 25. Leave it blank if nothing was taken. The exchange rate loss is not a fee here; it shows in what reached your bank.
The money is still in my Payoneer or Wise balance
Pick Not in my bank yet. The payment is counted as paid by the client but not in your bank total, and the summary shows it as waiting. Tap Edit on the payment when you withdraw it and type what arrived.
Amount in my bank or exchange rate?
If you know what arrived in your bank, type that: it is the most exact. If you only know the rate, type the rate and the app works out the amount from what was left after the fee.
What percentage should I keep aside for tax?
It depends on your country, your income and how you are registered, so ask an accountant or your tax office. Set it under Tax set-aside. The app works it out on what reached your bank in the month and in your tax year.
A client asked for money back
Add it as a payment from that client with Money taken back ticked. It is taken off that month's income and the tax to keep aside.
How is the average month worked out?
It adds up what reached your bank over the last 6 months (or since your first payment, if that is sooner) and divides by the number of months, months with no income included.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Everything stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, it works with no connection. Save a backup file before changing phones.
