    Questions

What do 16:8, 18:6 and OMAD mean?

The first number is the hours without food, the second the hours you eat in. With 16:8, if you finish dinner at 20:00 you can eat again at 12:00 the next day, and your next fast starts by 20:00. OMAD (one meal a day) is 23:1. Pick Custom for any goal from 1 to 168 hours, for example a 36-hour fast.

My phone locked or I closed the page. Is the fast lost?

No. The app saves the time your fast started, not a running counter, so when you come back it shows the right time, even days later.

I forgot to start or end the fast.

Tap I finished eating earlier to start a fast from the time of your last meal. If you forgot to end it, tap I ate earlier (set end time), or change the times later with Edit in Your fasts.

I ended a fast early. Does it count?

Yes, it is saved with its real length and marked as short of the goal, for example "12 h, 4 h short". Only fasts that reach the goal count towards your streak.

    How is the streak counted?

Days in a row on which a fast that met its goal ended. If today has none yet, the count starts from yesterday, so your streak does not drop to 0 in the morning.

What if I travel to another time zone?

The length of a fast is real time passed, so it stays right across time zones and clock changes. Times are shown in your phone's current time zone.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Your fasts stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection. Use Save a backup file to move to another device.

    Is fasting safe for me?

This is a timer and a log, not medical advice. If you are pregnant, diabetic, take medicine, or have had an eating disorder, ask your doctor before fasting.
