Load Shedding Schedule and Power Cut Log

See when the next power cut is and when the power comes back. Log real cuts and get the hours without power for a complaint.

Add your area's cut times

Type the load shedding times for your home or shop once, from your electricity company's schedule for your feeder or area.

How it works

  1. Type your area's cut times once, for example 08:00 to 09:00 and 14:00 to 16:00, every day or on certain days. You can paste them from a message.
  2. See the answer at a glance: "Next cut 14:00 to 16:00, in 1 h 40 min" or "Planned cut now, power back at 16:00".
  3. Tap Power went and Power is back when it really happens. Forgot? Add it later with the right times.
  4. Get the totals: "10 h 35 min without power this week, 6 h 35 min outside the planned times", ready to copy for a complaint.

Questions

Where do I get my area's load shedding times?

From your electricity company for your feeder or area: its website, app, helpline or SMS (in Pakistan, for example, LESCO, IESCO, MEPCO and the other companies post feeder schedules, and K-Electric shows them in its app and on 118). Or note the times the power goes for a few days. You can paste a whole message into + Paste the times from a message and the app picks out the times.

Does the app know when the power really goes?

No, nothing can know that without a device on your wiring. The top of each box shows the planned times you typed. When the power really goes, tap Power went, and Power is back when it returns. Those logged cuts are what the totals add up.

What does "outside the planned times" mean?

The part of your logged cuts that was not in your area's schedule. A cut from 13:50 to 18:00 when 14:00 to 16:00 was planned has 2 h 10 min outside the planned times. A cut with no planned cut at all, such as 03:00 to 05:30, is an unplanned cut. This is the number to quote in a complaint.

Our schedule changes in summer, or by day

Pick the days for each cut time (for example Fri only), and add as many cut times as you need. When the company changes the times, tap Edit cut times and save the new ones: they apply from today, and earlier days keep the old times in your totals.

Can it remind me before a cut?

Yes, through your phone's calendar. Tap Add to calendar in the place's box, pick how many minutes before, and open the file: each cut time is added as a repeating event with a reminder. If the times change, delete the old events in your calendar and add them again.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Everything stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection, even when the internet goes with the power. Save a backup file now and then, or before changing phones.
