Questions
Do I need to register or create an account?
No. There is no registration, no sign-up and no login. Open the page and start adding tasks. Your list is saved on your device.
Does this to-do list work without internet?
Yes. After the first visit the app is saved in your browser, so it opens and works with no connection. You can add, edit and finish tasks offline.
Where are my tasks stored?
Only on your own device, in your browser's local storage. Your tasks are never sent to a server, and there is no account and no sign-up. The only thing counted is an anonymous page visit.
Can I install it on my phone or computer?
Yes. In Chrome, Edge or Safari, use the browser's install or Add to Home Screen option. It then opens like a normal app and works offline.
Can I copy my list to Notes, Keep or another app?
Yes. Use Copy as checklist to copy your tasks as plain text, one per line, ready to paste anywhere. On a phone, the Share button sends the list straight to Notes, Keep, Messages or any other app.
How do I back up my tasks or move them to another device?
Use Export backup to save your tasks as a file, then use Import backup on the other device. Because tasks live only on your device, a backup file is the way to move or protect them.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your tasks are deleted along with it, because they are stored in the browser. Export a backup now and then to be safe.
Is this to-do list free?
Yes. It is free and open source under the MIT license, with no ads.
