How much paint do I need for a room?
Wall area is the distance around the room times the wall height, minus doors and windows. Multiply by the number of coats, add a little extra, and divide by how far a litre (or gallon) goes. The app does this for every room and tells you which tins to buy.
Can each room have its own colour and coats?
Yes. Every room has its own size, doors, windows and coats, and you can give it a colour name. Rooms with the same colour are added together so you buy once.
How are the tins chosen?
The app picks the smallest total that covers what you need. If a bigger tin wastes at most about a litre (a quart) more, it suggests that to save you buying extra tins.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Yes to both. Everything is worked out on your device and your data is never sent anywhere.
