Parking Spot Saver and Meter Timer

Save where you parked, see how long your paid time has left, and find your car again.

Where you parked

No car saved yet. Fill in “Save my parking spot” when you park.

    Save my parking spot

Saves the exact spot, so “Walk back in Maps” can lead you to the car.

    Alerts

These work while this page is open. A locked phone stops web pages, so press Add reminder to calendar on your car: your phone's calendar then alerts you even when it is locked.

    Questions

Will it warn me if my phone is locked?

No web page can ring while the phone is locked or the browser is closed. Press Add reminder to calendar on your car: it adds an event at the end of your paid time with an alert before it (the time you chose under Warn me before it runs out), and your phone's calendar rings even when locked. With the page open it also beeps, vibrates and turns the box amber, then red.

    My location is not working.

Your browser asks once if this page may use your location; if you said no, change it in the browser's site settings. Deep underground car parks often have no GPS signal: the location may be rough (the app tells you how rough) or missing. That is why the note (level, row, bay) and a photo of the nearest sign or pillar matter most indoors. Your spot is saved either way.

I paid for more time. How do I add it?

Press +15 min, +30 min or +1 hour on your car. While the paid time is still running, the time is added to the end. If it has already run out, the new time counts from now, as a new ticket would. For anything else press Change and pick a new time.

Parked for several days at the airport?

Choose Other length and type the days and hours (up to 30 days), or Until a time for today or tomorrow. The spot stays saved until you press I'm back, clear this spot, even after closing the page.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Your spot, photo and location stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. The location only leaves the phone when you press Walk back in Maps, which opens your maps app. Once loaded, the app works with no connection (the map needs one), and you can add it to your home screen.
