    Questions

How many pages a day to finish in Ramadan?

In the 604-page Madani copy, 604 pages over 30 days is 20.13, rounded up to 21 pages a day, about one juz. Pick your copy, choose Finish by a date and type the last day you want to finish on. The app works it out for you.

I missed a day. What happens?

The pages you missed are spread over the days that are left, so you do not have to catch up in one day. The box tells you how many pages behind your plan you are and the new pages a day to still finish on time.

Why does my copy have a different number of pages?

Copies differ by script and lines per page: the Madani copy has 604 pages, Indo-Pak copies have 548 (16 lines), 610 (15 lines) or about 848 (13 lines). Pick yours, or choose Another number of pages and type the last page number. In the Madani copy each juz is exactly 20 pages from page 22; in other copies the juz shown are close but not exact, so the app says "about".

How does the group khatam share the juz?

In order, as evenly as possible: 30 juz for 7 people is 4 each with 2 left over, so the first 2 people read 5. You can give any juz to someone else under Change who reads which juz.

Does the app give religious rulings?

No. It only counts the pages and juz you enter. Ask a scholar for questions about recitation.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Your reading stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to move it to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection.
