Questions
How is "pages a day" worked out?
The pages left are divided by the days left until your Finish by date, counting that day, and rounded up. Today counts too until you log today's reading; after that the plan starts tomorrow. For example, 138 pages left with 3 days to go is 46 pages a day.
How does it guess when I will finish?
It takes what you read of that book in the last 30 days (or since you started it, if that is shorter), divides it by the number of days, including days you did not read, and keeps going at that pace. Read more often and the date moves closer.
How do I know if I am on track for my yearly goal?
Your goal is spread evenly over the year. With 24 books, by 20 October 2026 (day 293 of 365) you would have about 19 finished. If you have 21, you are 2 ahead; with 17, you are 2 behind. Books count for the year they were finished in, so a book finished on 31 December counts for that year.
I went back a few pages. What happens?
If you type a page lower than last time, the app asks if you went back to re-read. Going back counts nothing, and the pages you read again after that count as read. If it was a typing mistake, tap History and delete the wrong entry.
My ebook shows a percent and my audiobook shows time left. Is that OK?
Yes. Choose Percent for an ebook and type the percent it shows. Choose Listening for an audiobook: type how far in you are, or switch to Time left and type what your app shows.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your books stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to move them to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection.
