How does it work out what is owed?
Each month's rent is due on the day you picked (the last day in shorter months). Payments always pay the oldest rent first. If 136,000 of rent has fallen due and 121,000 was paid, 15,000 is owed for the latest month, and the days late count from that month's due day.
The tenant moved in on the 17th. What is the first rent?
By default the first month is a full month's rent, due on the day they move in. Tick Charge the first month only for the days lived to charge by days instead: moving in on 17 June at 30,000 is 14 of 30 days, so 14,000. The same rule is used for the month they move out.
What is on a receipt?
The receipt number, the date paid, the tenant's and landlord's names, the property, the amount in figures and words, how it was paid, the months it paid for, and the rent still owed (or paid ahead) after it. Tap Print to print it or save it as PDF, or Copy text to send it on WhatsApp.
The rent went up. Will old months change?
No. Change the rent sets a new amount from a month you pick; months before keep the old rent.
Can a tenant use it too?
Yes. Add your home with your landlord's name and record what you pay. You get a statement for the year and a receipt for each payment, which can help when you are asked for proof of rent paid.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your records stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to keep a copy or move to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection.
