Replacement Reminder for Filters and Toothbrushes

Toothbrushes and electric brush heads: every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed or after being ill (NHS and American Dental Association advice). Water filter jug cartridges: usually every 4 weeks. Contact lenses: exactly as your optician says, 2-weekly lenses every 2 weeks and monthly lenses every month, and the lens case every 3 months. The numbers in "Pick a common item" are the usual advice; if the box, your optician or your dentist says something else, change the number.

Tap Replaced today on the day you change it: the next date always counts from that day. A toothbrush replaced every 3 months and changed on 2 Aug is next due on 2 Nov. Changed it on another day? Tap Edit and set "Last replaced". Months are calendar months: 31 Jan plus 1 month is 28 Feb (29 Feb in a leap year).

Use it for something not in use for a while: the AC in winter, contact lenses while you wear glasses on holiday. A paused item never shows as due. When you tap Resume, the paused days are not counted, so a filter used for 2 weeks before a 3-month pause still has the rest of its time left.

A web page cannot ring by itself when it is closed, so use Add the due dates to my calendar: your phone's calendar then reminds you at 9:00 on each due date. The app itself shows what is due every time you open it.

Your list stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use Save a backup file to move it to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection.
