Questions
How does the 90/180 rule work?
On every day you are in the Schengen area, look back over the 180 days that end that day. You may have been inside on at most 90 of them. The day you enter and the day you leave both count as full days. It is a rolling window, not a calendar half-year, so the count changes every day.
Why can I stay longer than my "days left"?
While you stay, your oldest days drop out of the 180-day window, so you get days back on the way. With 47 days used, entering today might let you stay 63 days, not 43. The app checks every single day of the stay and shows the real last day.
When do I get my full 90 days back?
When a whole 90-day stay starting that day would never break the rule. The app shows this date as "Full 90 days again from". It is often about 180 days after your last trip ended, sooner if you were inside only a few days.
I am there now. When must I leave?
Add the trip with the day you entered and tick "I am still there". The top box shows the last day you can stay. "Add the last day to my calendar" saves it with reminders 7 days and 1 day before.
Which countries are in the Schengen area?
Most of the European Union plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Ireland and Cyprus are not part of it. Days in all Schengen countries are added together. Check the official list before you travel, as it can change.
Can I use it for other rules, like 183 days for tax?
Yes. Under "Travellers and rules" tap "+ Add another traveller or rule", choose a rule such as 180 or 183 days in any 365, or "Other rule", and add those trips there. Each traveller or rule keeps its own trips.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a careful count of the dates you type. Your visa may allow fewer days, some countries have their own agreements, and border officers (and the EU Entry/Exit System) make the final count. Check with the embassy if in doubt.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your trips stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Use "Save a backup file" to move them to a new phone. Once loaded, the app works with no connection, for example at a border.
