Signature Maker for Forms
Sign on the screen or use a photo of your signature on paper, and get a clean signature file in the exact pixels and KB the form asks for. Nothing is uploaded.
1 Your signature
Sign the way you sign on paper. Turn your phone sideways for more room. No mouse or touch screen? Use Use a photo.
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then take the photo from straight above in good light. Shadows and grey paper are cleaned away.
The dashed box is the part used as your signature. If it picked up something else, drag a new box around your signature.
2 The size the form asks for
Leave both empty to keep your signature’s own shape.
3 Your signature file
Sign in box 1, or choose a photo of your signature, and your file appears here ready to download.
Saved only in this browser, for your next form. Leave it off on a shared computer.
Questions
Is my signature uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your device. Your data is never sent anywhere, and once the page has loaded it works offline too. Your signature is kept on the device only if you tick Remember my signature on this device, and unticking it deletes it.
The form says “140 × 60 pixels, 10 to 20 KB”. What do I pick?
Pick 140 × 60 px, 10 to 20 KB (it is the first choice). For any other size, type the width, height and KB the form gives; + Add a smallest size is for forms that say “at least” or “between”.
My signature is only 4 KB. How does it reach 10 KB?
A small, clean signature is naturally tiny. When a form asks for at least 10 KB, the app adds empty space inside the file. The picture does not change; only the file size does, so the form accepts it.
Does 1 KB mean 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Websites count it differently, so the file passes both ways: under 20 KB means at most 20,000 bytes, and at least 10 KB means at least 10,240 bytes.
How do I sign a PDF or Word document with it?
Pick See-through PNG for PDFs. The file has no background, so it sits on the page without a white box. Download it (or tap Copy picture and paste it), then insert it as a picture in your document or PDF app.
My photo has lines, shadows or a table in it.
The app cleans grey paper and shadows away and ignores marks touching the edge of the photo. If something else is still picked up, drag a box around your signature on the cleaned photo, or move Clean-up towards Whiter paper. Plain white paper and a dark pen work best.
Is the signature stretched to fit the pixels?
No. It is made as big as fits inside the size, with a little space around it, and the rest is background. It never looks squashed.
