Questions
What is spaced repetition?
You see each card again just before you would forget it. A new card you know comes back tomorrow, then after about 3 days, then 8, then 3 weeks, then 2 months. A card you forget comes back in a few minutes and starts again. So you spend your time on the cards you do not know yet, and 15 minutes a day is enough for hundreds of cards.
Which button should I press?
Again: you did not know it. Hard: you got it, but only just. Good: you knew it after a moment. Easy: you knew it at once. The small text under each button says when you will see the card again. Be honest: pressing Good when you guessed just means you meet it again later than you should.
What does the exam date do?
No card is put off past the day before your exam, so every card you have started comes up once more in time. The app also works out when all your new cards will have been started at your New cards a day, and if that is too late for the exam, how many a day you need, with a button to use that number.
I missed a few days. What happens?
Nothing is lost. The cards you missed are still due, the most overdue first. If there are a lot, study some and tap Stop for now: what you answered is saved, and the rest wait for later or tomorrow.
Can I bring cards from Quizlet, Anki or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Copy two columns (front and back) from a spreadsheet, or export from Quizlet or Anki as text, and paste into Paste many cards at once. You can also open a .txt or .csv file there. Copy cards and Save as CSV take your cards the other way.
Are my cards private?
Yes. No account and no sign-up. Your cards stay in this browser on this device and are never sent anywhere. The app works offline once it has loaded. Use Save backup file to keep a copy or move to another device.
