Questions
How do I send the measurements to my tailor?
Tap Copy measurements in the person's box and paste it into WhatsApp or a text message. Copy for tailor on an order also adds what is being stitched, the ready date and the fabric and design note.
My child has grown. Do I lose the old measurements?
No. Tap New measurements: the boxes start with the last numbers, so you only change what changed. The old set moves to Earlier measurements, and the box shows what changed, like "Sleeve length 20 → 21". Edit is for fixing a typo without starting a new set.
Can I type 14½ or 14 1/2?
Yes. 14½, 14 1/2, 14-1/2, 14.5 and 14,5 all mean the same. Inches are shown the way tailors write them, like 14½ or 38¾. Switching between inches and cm converts the numbers to the nearest ¼ inch or 0.5 cm.
What does "late" mean?
The ready date the tailor gave has passed and you have not marked it Ready or Collected. Late orders are shown first, in red, with how many days late, so you know whom to call.
The tailor charged more when I collected it.
Tap Collected and change the Final price. The balance and the "Still to pay" total use the new price. If you paid more than the price, the order says so.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Your diary stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection. If you clear the browser's data the diary is gone, so save a backup file now and then.
