How is the best time chosen?
Every half hour of the day is tried. A time counts only if the whole meeting is inside each person's own working hours. Among those, the best is the one that keeps the most room before and after the meeting for the person with the least room, so nobody is at the very edge of their day.
What if there is no time that works for everyone?
You are told so, and shown the closest option with who has to meet outside their hours and by how much. You can then shorten the meeting, change someone's working hours, or leave one city out.
What if one person works nights and another works days?
Give each person their own working hours. Choose Night shift (10 pm to 6 am) for the night worker, or Custom hours for any shift, even one that runs past midnight. The planner only suggests times inside every person's own hours.
How long can the meeting be?
From 5 minutes up to 3 hours. Pick a length from the list, or choose Custom length and type the minutes.
Does it handle daylight saving?
Yes. Each city's real clock on the day you pick is used, so the gap between cities is correct even when one place has changed its clocks and another has not.
Is my information private?
Yes. Everything is worked out on your device. Your data is never sent anywhere.
