Questions
How is attendance marked?
Every class day counts as attended unless you mark it, so you only tap the absences. In Today's classes tap Absent for anyone who did not come. For another day, tap it in the student's calendar and pick Present, Absent or No class. Days still to come are not counted yet.
Monthly fee or per class?
With Per month the fee is the same whatever the attendance. With Per class the month's fee is the classes they attended times the fee per class, for example 6 classes × 600 = 3,600. Missed classes are not charged unless you tick Charge for missed classes too. In the current month it shows the fee so far.
A parent paid only part, or paid ahead
Tap Record a payment and type what they paid. Anything left shows as Still to pay and is carried into the next month as Unpaid from before. Paying more than the fee comes off the next fee. To pay ahead, pick next month in For the month of.
A student joined on the 15th
Pick the Started on day. In Joining or leaving part way through a month choose the full monthly fee, or only the class days they had: joining on Thu 15 October with classes Monday to Friday is 12 of 22 class days, so a 6,000 fee becomes 3,272.73.
Holidays, siblings and fee changes
On a holiday tap Holiday today: no classes, or tap the day in a calendar and pick Holiday for everyone; holidays are not counted as classes. For a sibling discount type the lower fee, or use Discount or extra charge for one month. To raise a fee tap Edit, type the new fee and pick the month it starts.
Is it private? Does it work offline?
Everything stays in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection. Save a backup file now and then, or before changing phones.
