        Questions

How does it know what I lifted last time?

Every set you log is saved on this device. When you start a workout, each exercise shows the sets from the last workout that had it, like Last time, Mon 12 Oct: 60 kg: 8, 8, 7 reps, and fills in the boxes with those numbers so you can log a set with one tap.

What counts as a new best?

A set is a new best when you have never done that weight, or heavier, for as many reps before. 62.5 kg for 8 is a best if your heaviest 8 was 60 kg, even when you once did 65 kg for 5. Heavier than ever is called heaviest ever. Warm-up sets never count. Your first time doing an exercise is your starting point, not a best.

What is the "est. 1-rep max"?

A guess of the most you could lift once, worked out from a set of 2 to 12 reps (Epley: weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30)). 60 kg for 8 gives about 76 kg. It is only a guide for comparing sets; never test a real 1-rep max without a spotter.

I forgot to press Finish yesterday.

When you open the app hours later it asks whether you are still training. Finish it ends the workout at the time of your last set, so the length stays right.

My phone locked during the rest. Is the timer lost?

No. The timer remembers when the rest ends, so it shows the right time again when you come back, even after reloading the page.

Is it private? Does it work offline?

Your workouts stay in this browser on this device: no account, and your data is never sent anywhere. Once loaded, the app works with no connection, even in a gym basement. Use Save a backup file to move to a new phone.
